LJK Foundation

The LJK Foundation has been established to drive the agenda of meaningful social impact through the promotion of social cohesion as core developmental goals.

Our aim is not to replicate what the plethora of social organisations have done but to explore new and innovative means to create a more just and equitable society. The LJK Foundation envisions growing into a global impact accelerator that leaves a trial of self-reliant communities in its wake.

Started in 2015 to celebrate and continue the lived example of love beyond oneself as exemplified by a South African community activist, namely Ms Legina Joyce Kleinhans (LJK). In keeping with a life dedicated to disadvantaged communities (whom she served as educator and later as activist and community builder since the age of 17), the LJK Foundation is proud to pick up the baton of hope and be a new generational infusion of a great legacy of caring.

The Foundation mainly operates in the Africa continent and focusses on fostering collaboration, innovation and learning as key practice orientations. Leveraging of more than 50 years of expertise grounded in management consulting and healthcare the foundation is well geared for is continental and global change aspirations. Since inception, the foundation have directed its interventions toward marginalised individuals and communities. We are proud that all our campaign achievements was girded by our value system, which is rooted in charity, brotherly kindness and love.

Our impact as a Foundation is effected across the following social development platforms, namely
